Fortunately, we can now lace up our boots and take to the pitch every week, thanks to the improved weather. Each team is fully immersed in their League campaign, and we wish all our teams the best of luck as they approach the conclusion of their League journeys.

Our Seniors have already completed three league games, and their fourth is scheduled for this weekend against Bride Rovers. This week marked a significant milestone as we proudly introduced a third Adult team for the first time. Despite the loss, it was a commendable effort, with numerous players making their adult debut alongside our experienced veterans. Congratulations to everyone involved!

Last week, our U15 team participated in the National Feile competition held in Rostellan. Competing in Division 1, they faced tough opponents in Inch Rovers and Erin’s Own. Despite the challenges, the girls demonstrated tremendous determination and resilience, showing great heart throughout the matches. This experience was invaluable for all involved, and we commend the girls for their efforts. Well done!

Our U9/10s had an exciting time down at the pitch over the Easter Holidays when they had a special meet-and-greet session with the Cork Senior Ladies. There was palpable excitement as the girls had the opportunity to meet their role models. Afterward, they enjoyed orienteering in the woods and were each rewarded with an Easter egg. We extend our gratitude to everyone involved for making it a fantastic morning for all the girls.

Our underage ladies' training is now back in full swing, and we always welcome new members. Additionally, these age groups are in need of helpers willing to spare an hour or two to assist in coaching the girls. Unfortunately, without coaches, training sessions cannot proceed. If you can lend a hand, please contact the numbers provided below.

We extend our best wishes to all the Aghada girls who are representing Cork as they embark on their Munster Championship campaigns. Here's hoping for success and perhaps some silverware making its way back home to Aghada and the Rebel County. Best of luck to all!.
